Many community colleges have some online classes for college credit. In CA, as long as one is over 18 or a high school graduate, and they can benefit from the education, they will likely be accepted to community college. While other states "require" a high school diploma for community college admission, most have exceptions for applicants who didn't graduate from high school and will benefit from the education. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
